Before getting into the upcoming changes, I want to personally thank all of you who have supported Blue Water Pet Care over the years. We know how much trust it takes to leave your dogs in someone else’s care, and we truly appreciate that you continue to choose us.

We have always tried to put that support back into the business and improve the experience for both the dogs and our clients. Most recently, we made a significant facility upgrade by adding air-conditioning to the back areas of our building, helping keep our daycare and boarding spaces more comfortable throughout the year. We also continue investing in our staff, equipment and facility.

 

To help us continue providing the level of care you expect from us, we will be updating some of our prices.

 

WHEN THE NEW PRICES BEGIN

 

Boarding pricing will be based on when the reservation is made, not when the stay takes place.

 

If your boarding reservation has already been booked before Monday, September 14, we will honor the current price for that reservation. Any new boarding reservation made beginning Monday, September 14 will be charged the new rate of $42 per night, regardless of when the stay takes place.

 

Our updated prices will be:

Full-Day Daycare: $38
Half-Day Daycare: $28
Overnight Boarding: $42
Day Boarding: $32
Learn to Play: $38

 

Full-Day Daycare while boarding: $20
Half-Day Daycare while boarding: $17
1-on-1 Exercise: $17
Treat of the Month: $4

 

Temperament tests, nail trims and nail grinds will remain at their current prices.

Grooming prices will also be updated and will continue to vary based on the dog, coat condition and service being provided. When making your dog’s next grooming reservation, please ask one of our staff members about the updated price.

 

REPORT CARDS AND DAYCARE PACKAGES

 

Beginning Monday, September 21, report cards will be included for FREE with every daycare visit used from a package.

This benefit applies to all active daycare packages, including packages clients already have and packages purchased before the price change. We wanted to add something meaningful to our package program as a thank-you to our loyal clients who continue to choose us and commit to multiple visits.

If you previously purchased report cards separately and still have unused report-card credits, we will make sure you receive credit for their remaining value.

Report cards may still be added to daycare visits that are not part of a package for $3.

 

LOCK IN CURRENT DAYCARE PRICING

 

If you would like to lock in our current daycare pricing, packages may be purchased at the current price through Sunday, September 20. You may purchase more than one package, and the expiration period does not begin until the package is first used.

The 10-day packages expire three months after their first use, and the 20-day packages expire six months after their first use.

 

Beginning Monday, September 21, package prices will be:

Full-Day 10-Pack: $361
Full-Day 20-Pack: $684
Half-Day 10-Pack: $266
Half-Day 20-Pack: $504

 

CREDIT-CARD PAYMENTS

 

Beginning October 1, a 3% surcharge will apply to eligible credit-card payments.

Credit-card processing has become a significant and growing expense for our business. This change will help offset a portion of that expense. Clients can avoid the surcharge entirely by paying with cash, check or an eligible debit card. Debit and prepaid cards will not be surcharged.

 

We know price changes are never anyone’s favorite news, and we don’t make these decisions lightly. Thank you again for your support, your trust and for allowing us to care for your dogs.
